I am the proud owner of McKinlays Residential Taunton, and I am a local man living in Taunton with my wife Kelly and three sons. I began my Estate Agency Career in 1997 and I have operated in Somerset and Avon, gaining valuable experience and success with all types of property, within every part of the County and neighbouring Counties.

My passion for this industry and wholehearted commitment to my clients' best interests has meant that clients not only recommend me to their families and friends, but return to me every time they are considering any move.

I’m McKinlays' Senior Property Valuer with over 20 years of experience in the property industry across Devon and Somerset. Property has always been a passion of mine, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the local markets, having lived in Devon and with family roots in Taunton.

With experience in both Estate Agency and Conveyancing, this gives me a well-rounded perspective of the entire property transaction process. This allows me to provide a more informed, supportive service to both sellers and buyers, ensuring smoother transactions from start to finish.

I take pride in offering a service that goes beyond the standard – always aiming to remove as much stress as possible from my clients and helping them achieve the best possible outcomes. I'm experienced in valuing all types of residential properties, including rural homes, urban and suburban houses, probate valuations, and development plots.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two energetic spaniels – they certainly keep life interesting!

I joined McKinlays team in March 2025 as a Sales Negotiator, and have been welcomed and supported from the day I started.

Before joining the team, I worked within the Childcare sector, having 15 years of experience and working my way up to the role of a Nursery Manager. I obtained my Bachelors of Honours in Early Childhood studies

During my time in childcare I was privileged to watch the children grow and develop, but time came for a new challenge

I am new to the Estate agent’s business, and every day is a ‘School day’, but I love that each day is very varied from viewings to booking valuation.

I am passionate about offering the best experience whether it is buying a house or selling, with the support of the team around me.

I am committed in providing the highest standards and finding the best property for our clients

I am also a life long Tauntonian and a Letting Agent ARLA registered Propertymark professional. I am a hard-working and customer focused individual who is always ready to support our client base, and I am also very keen to meet with and assist new clients.

McKinlays Lettings has been protecting and guiding landlords and tenants in this region for over 20 years, and being backed by this expertise, I’m always well-equipped to understand and deliver what’s best for our clients and customers.

I work in the Lettings department of the Taunton team.

Being a lifelong Tauntonian furnishes me with a wealth of local knowledge and contacts within the community.

My role within the office, is the administration of property inspections and maintenance. My keen eye for detail and methodical approach ensure that I am able deliver consistently high levels of customer care to our ever- growing client base.

I first met Nick through the management of my rental properties and was immediately impressed by the way he and Kelly cared for both landlords and tenants. A few years later, I began working part-time with McKinlays, providing administrative support to both the lettings and sales teams as needed.

The role is always varied—no two days are the same—and I enjoy the dynamic pace of the work. Now semi-retired, I previously managed a team of civil servants, so I'm well-versed in organising daily operations and keeping things running smoothly.
